New Members are always welcome; we see you as the future lifeblood of our Club.   We want to show you the wonderful facilities which LDYC has provided for its members since 1835 and the enjoyment that be can be had from being part of the Club as a member in your own right.

We provide for both Sailing and Fishing Members, for families and individuals, of all ages and experiences.  Temporary memberships are available so that you can sample club life before making a long term membership commitment, for example, through the Schools Sailing initiative.  We cater for students and those over 65 with discounted membership packages. Membership is by application only, and each person (or family) applying for membership must be proposed and seconded by an existing member of Lough Derg Yacht Club.  If you apply online, the Membership Secretary will contact you to assist in the membership process.

The main membership categories are listed below.  Complete the attached application form by clicking on the Membership Level that best suits you, clicking on the NEXT tab below right. You will be brought through the application step by step. We can adjust the category afterwards, as necessary, to suit your needs.  Payment is taken only after election to membership at a monthly Committee meeting.
