School Sailing Programme

LDYC offers the opportunity to local schools to partake in Sailing throughout the year.

Following on from this we more than welcome children and families to join the club and continue enjoying Lough Derg.

Junior Sailing Programme

LDYC is providing quality Junior courses, as per usual. In 2020 we will go a step further for our Juniors teacing the ISA programmes  (as per July Course) from Easter.

Junior Weekly Sailing & Regattas 

In 2020 we will offer the longest season possible. Sunday Sailing will start at the end of April and continue through to October expect for July during the Courses.

• The Rescue will be provided as much as possible by parents and organised by the Junior Committee/ Junior Organiser. Sign Up here for the Rota.

  Note: If you do not know have a powerboat license  – get in touch we will be running courses throughout the year.

  Timings for Sunday Sailing are as follows:

•    Arrive ~10:00
•    Rigged/Changed & Ready to Launch at 11:00 
•   Off the Water and de-rigged for 14:00
